  • Overview

    Up to 40% of women who suffer from symptoms of vaginitis cannot be diagnosed at the initial office visit, and 25% are placed on a pharmacologic therapy not based on validated diagnostic testing. “Complex Vaginitis Cases: Applying New Diagnostic Methods to Enhance Patient Outcomes” is a case based, practical, interactive activity designed to enhance clinician’s skills in the appropriate use and interpretation of guideline recommended, sensitive and specific Nucleic Acid Amplification Tests (NAAT) to break the vicious circle of missed diagnosis and inappropriate management, enhancing patient’s satisfaction with care, quality of life, and decreasing risk of complications.
